This was the most pleasant trip to the mechanic I think I’ve ever had. As a non-car expert female, I dread going to the mechanic but they were super nice and didn’t even charge me for attaching a piece of plastic that had come loose from underneath my car. 100% would recommend them!

Want to share my experience -- had an odd bumping/shimmy of the car on the way home, and felt scary enough to stop and have it checked out. Google recommended Stauder as the nearest place. This is 3pm on a Monday afternoon. The people at Stauder were amazing, taking the car for a quick test drive in the shop and then putting it up on a rack to take a look. Turns out the shop that had done previous service had not tightened the nuts on the front tire sufficiently and we had lost 3 out of 5nuts -- I can't imagine if we had lost more. HOWEVER, Stauder redistributed the nuts on all four tires to ensure we could drive the car safely, and did not charge us anything for the work. I am very grateful to Stauder Automotive for this and would heartily recommend them to anyone in the area.

Took my 1st gen Mazda speed to them to diagnose a suspension related noise and got an unimaginably thorough inspection report which cited issues that even a certain Mazda specialty shop I’ve taken the car to recently didn’t catch. In the end, I needed an adjustment on a recently installed part and given that it was done at a different shop that I needed to take my car back to, I wasn’t even charged! Learned so much about my cars sway bar setup and suspension in the process; highly recommend this shop

These guys were amazing! Had a water pump fail on my way to drop off our daughter at Cal…landed on Sunday night without a clue! Called these guys on Monday morning and they had it ready, including tracking down a back ordered hose, by my daughter’s dorm check in time of 11 on Tuesday morning! Such good people and talented too!😊

On the recommendation of a close friend I took my Jeep to Stauder when it needed work a couple of years ago. Great service, fair pricing, and excellent work. Since then I have had a few things (big and small) that needed work and each time I am pleased that Bob and the crew are able to figure out what's going on and fix it - best of all they really listen to the car owner - who knows the sounds and smells of a car better than the regular driver, right? This last repair diagnosis was a collaboration of efforts on my part and theirs - loved that they were so open to my thoughts, too. Really like it here. Don't forget to ask for the AAA discount!

On my way home I became concerned about my tires on my truck. Saw this place had good reviews for female pres. folks and went to ask for a safety inspection. Middle of the day, and even though they were busy, the techs very kindly did an inspection for me with no appointment so I could be informed of the things that needed repair and be on my way. They did not try to upsell me on anything or push services. Very honest, respectful, and knowledgeable. Hard to find a mechanic that listens and they were very patient and took into account what I knew about the truck already. They even helped me safely back out of the shop because it is on a busy street. Definitely recommend.

Was driving home from my graveyard shift and suddenly experienced a rhythmic slapping sound from the engine. Couldn't see what was wrong in the dark but thankfully the car restarted later in the morning and I limped it to Sheaf's a few blocks away, terrified that I couldn't afford whatever had happened. Instead, they immediately spotted a broken serpentine belt dragging under the car as I pulled in and had me repaired and back on the road in less than 3 hours, for only the price of the part plus maintenance even though I forgot to surrender my keys before I walked home. I'll definitely be keeping these guys first in mind for car repairs in the future.

Really friendly people. Enquired about whether they fill up tyres. They offered to do it for free. Didn’t need to. Very friendly and helpful.
